Funding activities
The non-profit Doris Leibinger Stiftung GmbH provides assistance to children in emergency situations with the aim of helping them forge their own paths in life. We support institutions that help traumatized, neglected and abused children and adolescents from unstable families. Another focus of our work is to improve the services available to deafblind and blind adolescents in the educational system and during their professional training.
Another focus of our commitment is improved offers for deaf-blind and blind young people in the school system and in training. For families of children with severe physical and mental disabilities, participation in public life is difficult in many ways. This already starts with the topic "mobility". We therefore support these families with the costs of wheelchair-accessible vehicle conversions.
Stiftung taubblind leben
We signed a 10-year funding agreement with the Stiftung taubblind leben to significantly improve the lives of the about 10,000 deafblind people living in Germany today.
Mobil mit Behinderung e. V.
The association Mobil mit Behinderung e. V. supports families in acquiring wheelchair accessible vehicles so that they are mobile and can participate in public life with their children.
Nikolauspflege
The Nikolauspflege provides long-term developmental support for children who are blind, deafblind or have vision loss.
